Ferguson & McGuire Mission statement
The mission of Ferguson and McGuire in Huntington is to provide our clients with the broadest form of insurance coverage at the most competitive price that we can find and to provide that insurance with the best service available. In order to accomplish this mission, we will contract with a broad array of insurance companies and employ the best insurance salespeople and the most service-oriented staff.

We are located in the Huntington Plaza in Ted’s Appliance Building next to the Green
For those coming Southbound Rte. 8 (Ansonia/Naugatuck area):
- Take Rte. 8 South to exit 12 in Shelton.
- At end of exit ramp, take a right. Follow this road to the end. (You will go through a commerce park.)
- At the end, the reservoir will be in front of you.
- Take a right onto Huntington Street.
- Follow Huntington Street a couple of miles into the center of Huntington.
- When you reach the light where the green is to your left and Huntington Plaza is on the right, take a right into the plaza parking.
- At the light after the firehouse, take a right into the plaza.
- Ted’s Appliance is Building 2, to the left between the gas station and the bakery building directly across from the gazebo.
For those coming Northbound Rte. 8 (Bridgeport Area):
- Take Rte. 8 North to Exit 12.
- Take a left off the exit.
- Follow this road to the end. (You will go through a commerce park.)
- At the end (reservoir is in front of you), take a right onto Huntington Street.
- Follow Huntington Street a couple of miles into the center of Huntington.
- When you reach the light where the green is on the left and Huntington Plaza is on the right, take a right into the plaza parking area.

Ferguson & McGuire History
The agency was founded in 1938 in Wallingford, CT, where we still maintain our home office. We have grown to the point that we now have a total of eleven offices. The agency was founded by the late John McGuire. His son Jack headed the organization for over 35 years and has since turned the reins over to his sons John and Christopher. We have over forty employees spread over our eleven offices including our Huntington Center office in Shelton CT.
